Has finally out stayed his welcome at the Ecuadorian Embassy. Hero or Villain? It will be interesting to see what happens if he is sent to the US given Trump's sometime effusive support.

Trump is already pretending he knows nothing about Wikileaks so that is probably not a good sign for Assange. They can't charge him (at least initially) with something that carried a possible death sentence as I think the Brits could not extradite him in that case. The irony is that he probably isn't going to get punished for the real crime of facilitating Russian assistance to the Trump campaign but rather for uncovering various things many of which frankly should not have been covered up in the first place.
